Returns

Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact me at anika@thehandcraftedstory.com immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right. I need to see the photographic proof of damage as soon as possible.

You have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need your order number. 

To start a return, please contact me with details at anika@thehandcraftedstory.com.

If your return is accepted, I will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. When I receive your return, I will inspect it and let you know whether or not the return is approved.

I will notify you once I’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund too.

Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exceptions

Unfortunately, I cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
