Hi, I’m Anika Lacerte (she/her), and I’m a Vancouver Island artist and the creator of The Handcrafted Story. I have been drawing every day since 2016 as a creative practice. These days, I mostly draw with a pen and sketchbook but I also draw on the Procreate App on my iPad. 

Some of my daily drawings become memorable greeting cards, stickers, postcards, magnets and repeat patterns.

I am often inspired by the nature around me, especially the ocean, my garden (including my houseplants) and my lifelong love of reading.

I have also made printables to inspire your creativity and story-telling, like my DIY calendars, Conversation Starters, kids activities, banners, and goal trackers.

I live with my family on Vancouver Island, in Sooke, near Victoria, BC, Canada, on the unceded traditional territories of the T’Sou-ke and Scia’new Nations.
