Machine Sewing on Paper

art journaling machine sewing

This is the second of a few art journaling pages I made for Get Messy, in which I used old book pages, my typewriter and grid paper. I’m currently addicted to machine sewing on paper.

This week’s pages were inspired by Lance Odegard’s song Renovation.

I cut some shapes out of old book pages and machine sewed them to the pages. I also used my typewriter for the journaling.

Have you tried using a sewing machine on paper?

Get Messy is an art journal challenge where a gang of crafty vixens are sharing art journal pages we have created to practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. We will be sharing our work around social media so follow the hashtag #getmessyartjournal.
