If you want to be more creatively productive, I recommend working through The Creative Habit: learn it and use it for life: a practical guide by Twyla Tharp.
One of my favourite quotes from The Creative Habit is:
Creativity is a habit, and the best creativity is a result of good work habits. That’s it in a nutshell.
Twyla Tharp is a dance choreographer but the book is not all about dance, she does use a lot of examples from her dance experiences to describe how to make creativity a habit.
Another favourite quote from the book is:
Venturing out of your comfort zone may be dangerous, yet you do it anyway because our ability to grow is directly proportional to an ability to entertain the uncomfortable.
This book is a workbook, there are exercises to complete and like most workbooks, I think you get out as much as you are willing to put in.

5 Stars: This is a book I have already re-read a few times, so I recommend that you buy it! This is a book that I could probably re-read once a year and keep building my creative habit.
