my quotable kid book review

If you want to record the funny and serious and silly things your kid says, I recommend My Quotable Kid: A Parents’ Journal of Unforgettable Quotes.

I find this book inspiring because it’s a simple way to record what your kid says. Each page has a place to write your quote as well as Who, When, Age, and Where. The very first page has a cut out to include a photo of the child. You could buy one book for more than one child since there is a place to record Who is quoted on each page. So then it would be a family book of quotes.

I own two copies of My Quotable Kid (one for each of our kids). Sometimes I type out the funny things our kids say in a note in my iPhone and then later write it in this book.

LIKES: I like the size of the book and that it is a hardcover. I like the ribbon bookmark sewn into the book to mark your spot.

DISLIKES: I think I’d prefer if this book was wire bound, but it’s not a deal breaker. I think the book is well-designed but I’d prefer a book that was less colourful.
