Get Messy Art Journal 002

Art Journaling

For this week’s Get Messy Art Journal post, I worked on my hand lettering. After working on these pages and deciding I didn’t really like them, I think I realized they are probably too big for me (they are 5.5″x8.5″). I prefer working with smaller pieces, so I might try cutting these in half next time.

Art Journaling

I am participating in the 31 Days, which is a blogging challenge in October organized by The Nester. I have chosen to (attempt) to write Monday-Friday during October on the topic of art journaling.

this is inspiring. I love this. Was it just your thoughts when you couldn’t sleep. I love the patterns the words have made.

I really (really) love these pages. You filled up that first page right to the brim, it’s so great! And then paired it with that beautifully stark second page featuring a really authentic quote… perfect 🙂

That is so cool that you are going to be writing about art journaling for the next month. There seems to be alot of challenges popping up this month. I want to join in but not sure where. I feel I don’t have enough time.
By the way, I think your hand lettering is pretty! Can’t wait to see what you make later on this month. =]
