2014 photo calendars

Photo calendars have become an annual tradition for me. This 2014 calendar is my 7th annual photo calendar (well, 8th if I count the two calendars I made in 2012).  Each year I have made unbound 4×6 photo calendars that can clipped and pinned to a wall or fridge or propped on your desk.

Wire Bound Desktop Photo Calendar

For the first time, I am very excited to be able to wire bind my photo calendars to sit on a desktop. desktop-photo-calendars

Past Photo Calendars

The following photo shows all the calendars I’ve made. Top from left: 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011. Bottom from left: 2012 flowers, 2012 farm, 2013, 2014.

This year I decided to make some changes and it is the first year I have printed the images in circles. photo-calendars-2014

It’s also the first year I have only included images from a single photo walk. I went to West Fraser Timber Park in Quesnel, BC on October 3, 2013. In other years I have used images from the previous year, being careful to pick an image from the same month (an image from the previous January for the new January).

I am hoping to make a wooden stand for the calendars for the first time this year, which I have wanted to make for a couple years now. I have recruited my handy husband to cut the pine beetle wood which I am planning to sand and probably stain.

How fun to see all of your calendars on one page! I like having the wire bound, desk-top version. This year’s circle format is cool. Fall is my favourite season of the year, so I am going to enjoy these pics. Way to go, Anika!

  2. […] UPDATE: Having a stack of ready-to-go options for kitchen artwork is working and I LOVE it! I’m regularly changing our kitchen artwork when I flip over my photo calendar. […]
